How do I book the hall?

You can book the hall by using the booking form. Or contact us via email or phone (see our Contact page) and we’ll check availability and send you a booking form.

What is the capacity of the hall?

The hall can accommodate up to 80 people seated or 100 standing, depending on the type of event.

How much does it cost to hire the hall?

Prices vary depending on the duration and type of booking.

Please refer to our Hire Rates section or contact us for a quote.

What facilities are available?
  • A fully equipped kitchen with microwave, kettles and crockery and glasses, Full kitchen refurbishment taking place after Christmas

Is the hall accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes, the hall has step-free access, an accessible toilet, and wide internal doors.

Can I view the hall before booking?

Absolutely! Please contact us to arrange a convenient time for a viewing.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a refundable security deposit is required to secure your booking. This will be returned after your event, provided no damage or extra cleaning is required.

Can I serve alcohol at my event?

Yes, but if you are planning to sell alcohol, you’ll need to obtain a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from West Oxfordshire District Council.

Is the hall suitable for children's parties?

Yes! The hall is a popular venue for children's birthday parties and family events. Unfortunately bouncy castles are not permitted in the hall.

Can I decorate the hall for my event?

Yes, you can decorate the hall, but please avoid using anything that will leave marks (e.g., pins, tape on paintwork). All decorations must be removed after the event.

Are there any restrictions on the type of events?

We welcome most types of community and private events. However, late-night parties with amplified music may not be suitable due to the residential location.

What are the opening hours for hire?

The hall is available from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, seven days a week. Special arrangements for later events may be considered.

Is there is parking available?

Yes, there is on-site parking for up to 5 vehicles and additional public parking nearby.

How do I cancel a booking?

To cancel, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Refunds depend on the notice period given (see our terms and conditions).

Who do I contact in case of emergency during my hire period?

Emergency contact information will be provided in your booking confirmation pack.
